FIG Nurses as Consultants
Nurse Life Care Planners are retained as consultants for litigated and non-litigated cases. They provide opinions through a variety of services, such as Nurse Life Care Plans, review of Life Care Plans, Medical Cost Projections, medical-legal consulting, Medicare Set-Aside allocations, and case management. Consulting services take place during any stage of the case and are tailored to meet the referral's needs. These services are typically requested by the insurance carrier, attorneys, or employer. Consulting services are not recommended for designation of expert witness and anticipated trial testimony on a litigated case.
